For this Advert, it would have been aimed at young adults to middle aged people. I think that this would be quite successful in appealing to them because of the use of barbecues and how it's a social thing and you don't really see that many older adults doing it. Also, the use of Aardman-style animations can appeal to those that have grown up with it, along with those who know about it.
Music Video: The White Stripes - Fell in love with a girl
I think that this music video would have been aimed at young adults or adults. This is quite successful because of the genre of music used and how old the band is as well as the use of lego, which gives the video a slightly more childish aspect. I think that this works well along with the style of music and use of stop motion, and how affective the stop motion is.
Program: Shaun the Sheep
I think that this program is aimed at children in that is is a child's program. I think this is implied by how a lot of childish things happen in it, along with childish jokes and how the use of clay in stop motion means that they're able to make quite friendly looking characters. This is very successfully done in this video and they're able to express different emotions through only clay, and not proper dialogue.
Film: Chicken run
I think that this is a movie that's aimed at children, but can also be seen to aim at adults. This is because it has the childish style of Aardman Animations, but it also has a few slightly more adult jokes in it as well as children's jokes and stuff they would understand. This movie would be able to be enjoyed by all ages because of this, and is very successfully done as they're able to appeal to adults and children.
